SpaGlobally's objective was to become the worlds best online spa directory. Giving their users the ability to book, rate, and review spas of interest.
I had the privilege to develop, program and come up with a user friendly design that would entice clients to use SpaGlobally over the worlds largest competitors.
In the end, it was decided to create a spa directory that allowed spa owners to promote their business through different membership packages.
After analyzing competitors, it was decided to import all the spas around the world. If the owner claims their listing, they become a basic member giving them a "seal of approval" badge on their listing and exposure as a featured spa on the home page.
The spa owner will also have the ability to upload photos and integrate their social accounts so clients can share their experiences on different platforms. Most users would be using the website on their mobile device so having the site adapt to every device was crucial per the clients request.
Overall the site has alot of options once you become a member so having an easy guide to understanding how to set up your account was crucial for the sites success. Also, I was able to design it in a way that the client can promote gift cards.
I wanted to make sure that searching for a new spa would be simple and easy. One common way to achieve this is to give the user the ability to filter their searches. I also gave the user the option to toggle between a list or a card view.
